Our low temperature research is focused on properties of liquid and solid Helium 3 and Helium 4 at temperatures close to the absolute zero. Nuclear properties of solids are studied at record low temperatures. Considerable effort is presently aimed at investigating properties of samples where size effects at the nanometer level are dominating and extraordinary. | |

The Brain Research Unit comprises research groups studying human brain functions at the system level. The Unit also develops methods used in brain imaging research. |
